DrinkSloe began with a family recipe that has been passed down for over 100 years. My great-grandmother first taught me how to make sloe gin using the same simple ingredients and patient process that had been shared through generations before her. What started as a family tradition soon became something I wanted to share with others - handcrafted, small-batch sloe gin made properly, with care and attention in every bottle.

The idea for our personalised wedding favours came after I created the sloe gin favours for both of my sisters’ weddings. As an ordained minister, I also had the privilege of officiating both ceremonies, making the day even more personal and memorable. Seeing our handcrafted bottles sitting on each guest’s table showed me how special a thoughtful, meaningful favour can be - something beautiful to enjoy and a keepsake to remember the day by.

It is also really delicious and something I wanted to enjoy all year round, not just at Christmas as it usually was enjoyed!
